So, instead of being excited for the show, I was nervous it would fail to live up to the game and the caliber of acting from Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker and others. Then I found myself wondering why HBO was making a live action version in the first place when all the cut scenes could just be aired instead (not that that would ever happen). But I powered through and suffered nightmares gladly for the amazing story and characters. I only took breaks in playing because I am not an adrenaline junkie and the game was too scary. I finally got Part 1 and 2 in December and played them. I hadn't played the game yet, but it had been on my radar for years. I was excited from the initial trailer for the show.
